Reviews from Everett residents

Ultimately, the residents of Everett will have the most accurate representation of what it is like living in Everett.

After reading many recent reviews on reddit.com, which is known for people being very transparent, the consensus is that Everett is safe to live in.

Here are what some people say about living in Everett[3]:

  • “Lynnwood is a better area. But Everett is fine! Just stay off Casino Road/south everett area. If you live south of Everett and commute to Everett on a 9 to 5 timeline, you would go against traffic. Seattle is 20-30 minutes without traffic.” - cr4shn
  • “Everett is ok. Navy base right there. Echoing the blue collar vibe of Everett. In addition to Casino Rd area, I'd avoid living in the 41st and Rucker area and points further north to the hospital. (basically the downtown area) The old parts can be ok, ask the PD for a public records request of a month or two worth of incidents for your area of interest. (don't freak, there will be a lot of incidents wherever you look)” - snowleopardone
  • “I moved from Orange County to Everett Sept 2023. It's been really hard. Night and day difference. People are not very friendly, very little to do here compared to socal, a lot of crime (although it seems a little better recently because of the weather, I think). Drive down Broadway thru Everett it's bail bonds, ankle monitoring, homeless services and "massage". Vibe is depressing. I do like NW neighborhood though. The harbor is cool but there's no beach, not like CA beaches. Winter is about 8 hrs of daytime and it's frequently dark during the day - buy some vit D. If you're into self care, wellness - it's hard to find here compared to CA. Like no hot yoga studios, no pilates, no med spas, no cryptherapy, no vitamin IV's, limited massage therapy, etc. Food (groceries) is the most expensive I've ever seen. I-5 is only 3 lanes in most areas.” - Alternative_Key_1313
  • “South Everett is not bad we live near bowing and we just keep to our self’s. Honestly Everett is close to most cities I love that you can be so centric. School is great so far my toddler loves his preschool. And we walk and feel safe:)our dog 🐶 does well with others and neighbors look out but mind their business. Hope it helps.” - lovetacos2020
