Beware of wholesalers looking to buy your home
If you own your home, I can guarantee you’ve gotten an offer for your home in the mail.
Who are these never-before-seen buyers, and are they offering a fair price?
Unless it is a realtor trying to list your home or a builder, most likely these are lower than fair market value offers.
The people who are reaching out to you are called wholesalers.
These sharks are going to masquerade as buyers, but most of the time, all they are doing is trying to get you to put your home under contract at a discounted price and then quickly resell the contract at a higher price to another buyer.
By the way, they also pocket the difference.
You may say, "Well, I don’t want to clean anything up, fix anything, or prepare it for selling shape."
You may be right, but in this low inventory market, you may be leaving six figures on the table by going the lazy route.
If you are planning on selling your house, in whatever shape, call your trusted realtor and, at the very least, ask for their opinion on the price and strategy.
